Some of the functions this site offers needs authentication. If you are having problems when trying to connect to an area that needs authentication and you once had a useraccount for connecting to this area, please contact the server supervisor at supervisor@smpn.net. If you have the right to log on to the closed area, your password will be reset and a new one will be mailed to you.

This server is powered by a Debian Linux™ distribution. It is fitted with two security layers, these help the server beeing secure and (we hope) not very easy to hack. We have had only good experiences with the Debian and feel quite confident in the setup and use of the distribution. For more information on the experiences we've had with Debian, please do contact us.

The owner of this site does some development of small applications and programs for use by private and business users in order to make their day easier. Some of these applications will be avaliable on this site when the time is right for them. There will probably be created a site specially for this purpose. Applications is beeing developed for the Microsoft® Windows™ and Linux™ environment, most applications containing a GUI will be developed exclusively for Microsoft® Windows™ environment. As you might have noticed SMPN stands for SegMon's Private Network, and is a private server for SegMon and his friends. And any user hosting his site on this server or having e-mail posted here is a privileged user. All the same, the owner is a serious internet user and do not tolerate abuse.
